TF9 JR / Skate Size: 4 / Shoe Size: JR / Width: S / Color: black

The TRUE TF9 JR is a goalie skate designed for youth players and is intended for young goalies for whom a good fit and a secure grip on the ice are especially important. The version shown here is available in skate size 4 (junior size) with a narrow width (S) in black.

Product Type: Goalie Skates for Ice Hockey
Age group: Junior
Position: Goalie
Fit: Narrow width S
Size: Skate Size 4 / JR
Color: black

A snug fit is especially important in goal, because movements to the side, forward, and when standing up from the crouching position need to be transferred cleanly through the skate. A narrow fit can help here if the foot has less volume and doesn’t slip unnecessarily inside the boot. This is especially important during regular practice and in a young goalie’s first games, as it helps them develop a clearer sense of balance and movement.

For junior goalies, it’s worth taking a close look at the length and width to ensure the skate fits snugly around the heel while still leaving enough room in the toe box for a clean fit.
