TRUE AX9 BLACK JR is a pair of junior hockey pants in size XL, designed for players who need reliable protection for their hips, kidneys, and back during practice and games. Especially at the youth level, it’s important to have gear that combines protection with mobility without feeling unnecessarily heavy.

  • System: AEROshield Spinal Protection
  • Technology: ABSOR FoamTech foam insert in the kidney area
  • Protection Areas: EPP foam on the thighs and hips, additional kidney coverage with HD foam
  • Construction: Molded, hyper-elastic EVA polymer
  • Outer Material: 840D nylon shell with 3 cover materials
  • Closure: Skate-style lacing with RF-welded reinforcement and side buckles
  • Interior: internal strap system and moisture-wicking poly liner
  • Variant: black, junior, XL

In everyday hockey play, this construction really stands out when tight battles, checks along the boards, or blocked pucks demand more than just a standard pair of pants. The protective elements are positioned in the critical areas, while the lightweight and flexible design doesn’t unnecessarily restrict movement. This is especially important for youth club players, because equipment is often worn for long periods during practice and needs to stay securely in place even during intense sessions.

When selecting junior hockey pants, it’s worth taking a close look at the right size to ensure the protective panels fit snugly against the hips, back, and thighs.
