The TRUE CATALYST 3X3 JR is a lightweight junior hockey stick designed for young players who are looking for a direct feel for the puck and clean power transfer during practice and games. Available in a right-handed blade orientation, 54 inches long, with a stiffness rating of 50 and a T92.5 flex, this model is well-suited for young players who want a stick that feels responsive yet remains stable.

  • Technology: PLD, PASS, and BAT technologies
  • Construction: Woven mesh for increased overall strength with reduced weight
  • Kick Point: Mid Kick Point with flex in the mid-zone
  • Taper Zone: Designed to be stiff for greater control
  • Shaft Shape: Double concave with square corners
  • Grip: Soft, glossy grip
  • Blade: Matte finish
  • Variant: JR, Right-handed, Hardness 50, 54 inches, T92.5, black

A well-balanced stick makes a big difference, especially for junior players: less weight aids in quick movements, while the optimized shaft and blade design supports timing on shots, passes, and first touches. The mid-kick point noticeably flexes in the middle zone, making it easier to release shots without losing feel for the puck. Added to this is the stiffer taper zone, which keeps the stick stable during precise maneuvers.

When selecting a stick, the most important factors are blade orientation, stick length, and stiffness, so that the stick matches the player’s height and skill level.
