TRUE AX5 JR is a chest protector for young hockey players, designed for mobility and a snug fit during everyday play. Especially at the junior level, a good fit is essential—one that doesn’t make the protector feel unnecessarily stiff. The unibody construction delivers exactly this direct, compact feel.

  • Product Type: AEROshield Chest Protector
  • Construction: Unibody construction for greater mobility
  • Adjustment: adjustable in the bicep and abdominal areas
  • Lining: moisture-wicking polyester lining
  • Comfort: Pads stay drier and lighter
  • Size: JR, body protector size L
  • Color: black

On the ice, the combination of flexibility and adjustability really makes a difference. When a chest protector fits snugly against the upper body and arms, it stays more secure against the body while skating, turning, and handling the stick. This is especially important for juniors in regular training, when equipment shouldn’t be a distraction. The moisture-wicking poly lining also helps keep the chest protector more comfortable during longer sessions and prevents the pads from feeling unnecessarily heavy.

To ensure a well-coordinated gear selection, the JR model in size L should match the player’s height and the rest of the protective gear set.
