Especially for junior players, it’s important that a glove not only provides protection but also allows the hand to move freely. The combination of a flexible thumb, an elastic back of the hand, and the narrower tapered fit supports direct stick control—for example, when passing, receiving, or in tight game situations. At the same time, the multi-layered padding on the back of the hand distributes impacts and contact noticeably better than basic models. The PRO PALM maintains a natural feel for the stick and, on regular ice, strikes a sensible balance between grip and durability.

When it comes to junior gloves, it’s worth taking a close look at the proper length to ensure that the fingers, back of the hand, and cuff are fully covered.
