TRUE CATALYST 9X SR is a hockey stick designed for players looking for an exceptionally lightweight setup who value a direct feel for the puck during both practice and games. The Catalyst line is engineered for light weight and combines this with a construction that seamlessly blends power and control.

  • Technology: PLD, PASS, and BAT technologies with spread weave
  • Functionality: Increased overall strength with reduced weight in the blade
  • Kick point: Mid kick point with flex in the middle zone
  • Taper Zone: Designed to be stiff for controlled shot release
  • Shaft shape: double concave with square corners
  • Grip: Soft, glossy grip with a matte blade
  • Variant: SR, black, available in left- or right-handed
  • Flex Options: 65, 75, 85, 95 with TC2, TC2T, TC4, and TC4T flex profiles

On the ice, this is particularly noticeable during fast shots and precise passes: The mid-flex zone noticeably charges the stick, while the stiffer taper zone keeps the blade stable. Club players and ambitious adults who train regularly particularly appreciate this balance because it doesn’t feel sluggish even at high speeds. The shaft shape fits securely in the hand and supports precise control in tight game situations.

When selecting a stick, the blade orientation, bend, and flex should be tailored to your playing style and physical strength.
