The TRUE HZRDUS 9XSE SR is a composite hockey stick designed for ambitious players who are looking for a direct, fast shot and prefer a lightweight setup during both regular practice and games. The model was designed with weight reduction in mind and, according to the manufacturer, weighs 18 grams less than the 2020 AX9, combined with a shaft profile featuring a low kick point for a very quick release.

  • Technology: RESFLO, TRT, and PLD technologies
  • Shaft profile: low kick point for a fast shot release
  • Weight: 18 g lighter than the TRUE 2020 AX9
  • IntendedUse: Field hockey, training, and high-level competition
  • Curvature: TC2, TC2T, TC4, or TC4T
  • Hardness: 65, 75, 85, or 95
  • Stick type: left or right
  • Size/Color: SR, black

On the field, this design really shines when there’s little time for a full backswing. The low kick point facilitates an explosive release of the ball, which is especially crucial for quick shots and direct plays in offensive situations. At the same time, the lighter weight appeals to players who deliberately choose a stick that’s agile and responsive. The various flexes and hardness levels help you tailor the model to your own playing style, rather than settling for a general compromise.

When making your selection, it’s worth taking a close look at the curvature, stiffness, and whether it’s a left- or right-handed model, so that the stick feel and shooting technique match your skill level.
