The WARRIOR ALPHA LX2 MAX SR is a hockey stick designed for players who want to combine a quick release with controlled shot performance during practice and games. The Saber Taper-2 design combines features from low-kick and mid-kick constructions, which supports both powerful shots and precise shot placement.

  • Technology: Saber Taper-2 with a combination of low-kick and mid-kick
  • Shooting performance: fast shot release, more power, and increased accuracy
  • Construction: lightweight and sturdy material
  • Blade core: super-lightweight polymer core for a more direct feel for the puck and a crisp pop on shot release
  • Shaft shape: ergonomically shaped, concave shaft
  • Curvature: W03 or W28
  • Hardness: 65, 75, or 85
  • Variant: SR, left- or right-handed, in black

The balance of this model is particularly appealing to ambitious club players because it equally supports quick wrist shots, direct shots, and controlled puck handling. The concave shaft sits securely in the hand and provides noticeable feedback in tight game situations, while the lightweight blade core enhances the feel for the puck. This keeps the stick pleasantly responsive not only during shots but also when receiving passes and when releasing the puck off the boards.

When selecting a stick, pay attention to the blade orientation, curvature, and stiffness to ensure the setup matches your shooting style.
