The FISCHER RC ONE IS4 shaft is a composite shaft designed for ice hockey players who are looking for a balanced combination of weight, stability, and durability for regular practice and games. As the lightest shaft in the IS family, this model is designed for mid-level players who value a direct feel for the stick without sacrificing durability for everyday use.

  • Technology: IS4 from the IS family, featuring elements from high-end shafts
  • Construction: UD carbon combined with fiberglass
  • Functionality: Glass fiber enhances shot resistance; carbon provides stability
  • Feel: Light overall weight with balanced feedback
  • Applications: Ice hockey, practice, and games
  • Stiffness: 85
  • Size: SR
  • Color: black

It’s especially in everyday club play that you can see why this material blend makes sense: The shaft feels light in your hand but has enough substance to cleanly absorb repeated shots and in-game contact. This makes it an attractive option for players who have moved beyond basic entry-level equipment and are looking for a stick that offers controlled handling and remains reliable in various game situations.

The 85 hardness rating in SR is particularly well-suited for adult players who prefer a flex that’s appropriately tuned for their shooting style.
