TRUE ZUNGE MET-GUARD

TRUE ZUNGE MET-GUARD is a replacement tongue for hockey skates that provides additional protection over the instep. A well-fitting Met-Guard tongue is especially useful during regular practice or everyday club play, when you need better protection against hits, pucks, or hard contact in the lacing area. This black version offers a subtle look that pairs well with many different shoe setups.

Product Type: Replacement tongue with Met-Guard
Protection area: Instep and lacing area of the hockey skate
Color: black
Size: 3
Compatibility: For compatible TRUE hockey shoes or corresponding tongue mounts
Package contents: 1 pair

For players who put a lot of wear and tear on their skates during practice or want to replace worn-out tongues, this design offers a clean and functional solution. The additional reinforcement in the Met-Guard area provides support where the lacing and top of the foot are particularly vulnerable, without altering the character of the hockey skate. Replacing tongues in pairs is also practical for youth teams or parents when equipment needs to be made ready for use again.

When selecting a pair, compare the size of the existing tongue or the corresponding TRUE boot.
