The difference really shows during gameplay, especially when speed, physical contact, and frequent position changes come together. The wider coverage provides support for high-impact areas in the shoulder and chest regions, while the flexible construction doesn’t unnecessarily restrict arm movement. This is especially helpful for club players who train regularly and are looking for gear that works with them—rather than holding them back—even in tight game situations. The ventilation also contributes to this, as the padding stays airier and the comfort remains more consistent during longer periods on the ice.

When selecting a size, make sure to choose the correct SR size so that the protective areas fit snugly and mobility is maintained.
