A fresh grip tape often makes a bigger difference in everyday hockey than it might seem at first glance. When the stick sits securely in your hand, your movements while dribbling, passing, and shooting remain more consistent—especially during intense indoor practice sessions. The EXEL grip tape is therefore well-suited for club players and ambitious youth players who regularly maintain their sticks and refuse to compromise on grip feel.

When replacing the grip tape, it’s best to remove the old tape completely and wrap the new one neatly and with even tension.
